Great news. Now I can walk down and have a few pints - and no need to go to Cobh is always great news.

Good stuff last night lads, we got the Suppertors Club committee sorted out, and I have to say that the L37 merchandise is top notch, the New York Cosmos style t-shirt in particular is gonna fly off the shelves I reckon

Everyone involved in last night's launch deserves a pat on the back.
I too very much like the retro shirt with the white sash!

And well done Ger on the radio this morning. (For those who missed it, the 'Limerick Today' programme is repeated after the news at midnight. Ger was the second item (I think) in the second hour.)

Yes well done Ger Finnian, Put the club forward very well on the radio this morning.

Where and when will the merchandise be available?

I presume the set up with merchandisung will be better than last year, lets face it it could'nt be much worse

All the best lads, I think this is a genuine good news story. The footage from 1982 on the news last night was fantastic, especially the team parading down O'Connell Street on the back of a mud-splattered VW van. Hope the glory days return.

Thats a Friday night - which means a switch. Is that right?

Love the red & white kit! I prefer it to the white away kit, its a very unusual style for a 2nd/3rd kit, but with the historical link (much like the clube name) - brilliant.

Lots of positive messages coming across, the enthusiasm and drive of all involved is very evident. All that talk of football fans in Limerick needing a good senior team to follow, to be proud of, hit the nail on the head for me.

Best of luck to all involved, keep up the good work.

Yes the game was switched to allow Cobh more time to complete work on their pitch

Anyone who was at the club launch like myself would probably have missed this on both 6one and 9 o'clock news, so if you did you can see it here. Just scroll down to the sports section, you need Real Player to view it

What price are the jerseys going to be and does anyone have any pics of them .

I'm from Nenagh and seeing as Limerick 37 is my nearest EL club I plan on going there a few times this season and bringing some mates .

Was at the Leeds and Derry City games last year and thoroughly enjoyed myself so im hoping to get to a good few more games this year .

Shame that the attendance for the Derry game was probably only 1/20th to that of the Leeds reserves match , but then again people don't mind seeing a team of inferior quality once it's an English club .
