Delivery job

Does anybody here work as a delivery driver or know someone in that position? I have been offered a job working as one and I am wondering what is the normal starting rate for this position? Have no experience in the position so wont be expecting to start on a higher rate than normal.

Depends on the company really and the route. Drivers in my place get €12 starting doing routes in Dublin City. My father works on 40 foots and gets €25 an hour but the polish lad on the same route gets €9.

Also if you can bring the van home is classed as a bonus.

i would have thought a guy starting of would be at the €9-€10 rate, no matter what is nationality
