Robinson set for Kildare return
February 15, 2007
Ger Robinson, the former Middlesbrough trainee, is expected to rejoin Kildare County for the 2007 eircom League Premier Division season – although his first priority remains with the Meath Gaelic football side and his GAA club Dunboyne.
Robinson spent time at Station Road last season, scoring two goals for the Thoroughbreds.
The 25-year-old is part of Colm Coyle’s panel for Meath’s National Football League and Leinster Championship campaigns.
But he will play for County, who finished in seventh place in the First Division last season, when his other commitments permit.
how did ger robinson do for ye last season? he was average for us in alan matthews first season in charge.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Yup we're in the Premier now haha.
He didn't really stand out for me, but is still probably better then most of our squad
Good worker methinks, real shame we don't have him for a whole season otherwise he would probably be far more useful.
Everyone needs something to believe in, I believe I'll have another beer.
Yeah im a fan of him, maybe not the best technical player, but works his socks off.
Cmon County!
