    Friendly this Sunday

    According to Philly in the eL forum we're playing Wayside Celtic at their ground on Sunday at 2:30.

    The Golden Ball, Kilternan. The 63 goes from UCD (occasionally) and stops beside it. It's near enough to Palmer's pub, I think.

    The 44 is more regular, it goes through Ranelagh and Dundrum.

    We are playing you guys this coming Sunday - from KCFC Official Website:
    20/02/2007,
    Away Friendly

    John Ryan will have another chance to run the rule over his panel for the coming season when the Thoroughbreds take on UCD on Sunday.

    UCD are the fourth Premier Division side to face County in the pre-season. The game kicks off at midday in the UCD Complex (pitch not known at this stage)

    How does one the to the UCD Complex, is it near the bus stop @ Belfield? Was there at Higher Options last year but just spent the day on the internet in the IT building

    The game will either be in Belfield Park or a pitch near it so you should get off the bus and follow these directions;

    We played them today (Saturday), but the match was behind closed doors because Athlone don't want to open their new stadium to the public until the league season begins.

    0-3 to UCD.
    Not a great game to watch but the stadium looked impressive.
    Just a few minor things need attention

    Ash and Kildare Lad, were you fielding strong sides in those games?

    Kildare seemed to have their strongest team out.

    Not really. A few positions were being filled with inexperienced lads.

    Still though, we were awful going forward, awful...
