You won't be restricted to TV3.
RTE are greatly increasing their live coverage in the season about to kick off. Most games will probably go out on a Friday night around 8.30pm your time.
Also TG4 will be doing a few live ones, so hopefully we'll get our share of them.
Less Whining
Less Moaning
What are YOU doing to make it better?
while we are on the subject what is the TV package for this season as per live games? i thought there were to be 20 or so games shown live? will it be like EPL & SPL where each club is given a minimum of games covered?
hopefully a bit of western bias as regards what teams they show on TnaG !

Hopefully?!? I think that bias was there very obviously last season already!

aaaammm are we forgettin that TG4 is irish and the only irish speaking areas in the country are along the west coast i.e donegal, galway, kerry so they will be biased towards those areas and rightly so IMO
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D
Not forgetting that of course there are now far more everyday Irish speakers outside the Gaeltacht than in it
Shamrock Rovers in particular have a large following in the Irish language community in Dublin.
Cork City have lots of fans from Kerry with a fair few of our players having relations from down Dingle way
Oh no not them again
sorry harps i didnt have TnaG last year , just got it , i have a lot of catching up to do on ros na run !!

i know but 90% of gaeltachts stretch along the west-coast from cork up to kerry and there are one or two in the midlands i think so they will un-doubtably stick with the gaeltacht areas id imagine!
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D
id say it has more to do with interest in a game at a particular time - that they can cover relatively easily - the athlone town vs rovers game springs to mind in the cup last year

galway were on a run at the end of the season so - they were bound to get the viewership - its not all about loyalty!!!

IMO opinion it is with an irish language channel!. ever go out to the gaeltacht and have someone speak irish too you and you reply ''sorry i dont speak it'' even though u might be still in galway and wearing a G.A.A hoodie they'll talk about ya in irish in front of you and throw dirty looks!. point been they prefer there own there will be biased most galway will have a lot shown also because they are based in galway
There's the right way, the wrong way.... and the Max Power way!! :-D
try some punctuation gilberto - your continuous sentences are hard to understand

i suppose the reason the connies still speak irish is they are stubourn and wouldnt speak english not like the rest of us, back in the day - mind you they were in a very isolated spot like most gaeltachts - which is a major reason it survived there
