    when it comes to best players everyone seems to forget about goal keepers,

    mick devine for me is the top player in the country for the last 10 seasons,
    brilliant for waterford and cork

    Not comparable. Dixie Dean as a goalscorer was unrivalled. As an all rounder, no doubt Charlton was a better player.

    Kevin Hunt in the seasons 99/2000 to 2004 gets my vote.

    I agree, anytime I saw Dixie Dean he looked a little off the pace. Although that could be my memory playing tricks with me.
