    Cool eircom League Body Art

Lads, has anyone who supports you club got any 'body art'?

I think all clubs have fans we have dressed up some zany costumes at some times or another, the three wise men from Derry, the Drogs Scooby-Doo quadruplets, the TopHat Cork City fan, etc.

But in more recent years, a few Cork City fans have got tatoos showing their support for the club, and one of two in the past have shaved their heads with CCFC, along with the craze of mohawks and strips and dying their hair green, white and red.

Just wondering is it something that fans of other clubs do aswell?
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

For the cup final in 1999 I made an attempt to dye my hair blue. I bleached it first, fairly successfully, but the blue hair dye just didn't seem to work at all unfortunately.

Then of course the whole,Harps team turned up with bleached heads and it looked like I was the one guy who knew about it, but it was a total fluke.

I know at least one guy who has a Harps tattoo on his arm, and I've often thought of getting one.

You're lucky it didn't turn out Green. I know someone who attempted the same thing but the ble dye along with the bleach turned it green.

Or you could have ended up looking like a smurf if it rained and the dye ran....

Did the blue hair thing for a trip to the Showgrounds a few years back

The trick is to use those cheap blue hairspray cans - And hope to God it doesn't rain

Also considered getting the Limerick crest tattoed on my arm many a time but the amount of times we change name/crest is kinda off-putting

I have to admit there was an initial greenness there in places, which disappeared when I washed my hair fortunately.

    We live and learn.

All eircom League clubs should be obliged to body paint fans like these to promote the new Summer Soccer season. It's the only way we'll succeed.

Oh yeah, these, these and these too.

I know an Arsenal fan (from Limerick, not London!) who got a tattoo of the Arsenal crest tattoed on his chest - over his heart. Six months later, Arsenal changed their crest.
