Robbie Keane effectiveness for Ireland has been blunted since Niall Quinn retired. Keane runs his balls off when he plays. However he needs a big man to play off. Yesterday he got that, and scored 2 super goals. I know Kevin Doyle is not a target man, but he is decent in the air and may develop a decent understanding with Keane.
Duff looks like a player whose “legs have gone”. I'm afraid, a once great talent, is almost finished. I hope I'm wrong.

nothing to do with that (well, maybe a little!) but the original statement was a little odd, considering how long its been since the Portugal game, and I'd like to know where he got the stat from, article, website, voices in his head, wherever!

Am I the only one who thought Duff was possibly our best player against San Marino? He wasn't great, in fairness, but from coming off a couple of months injured an in a set-up where everyone appears lethargic, I think there were quite a few players who deserve stick ahead of him.

was at the game sitting in upper east stand and counted the amount of times it happened, no one should be suprised because for Ireland he is always doing it. I think it points to a weakness in centre midfield too and players not looking for the ball
No voices in my head, just common sense and watching!!
Homer did it ever occur to you to let go of the Candy?
