Flag's first away game

Right all members,

Just to let you all know that Aidom, is collecting flag from me next monday evening and packing it into his case for San Marino game.

So keep an eye out and fly it well, i'm just SICK!! i can't be there for the unvailing.

I'm working on details at the moment. Mento's reccie and departure times from Rimini have given rise to potential alterations to what I had originally planned but should be in a position to have final details up by the weekend

I will be needing help from Adam to assist around notifying people who contributed towards the banner - i think it's important that they should know first as the Banner wouldn't be there without their contributions.

Collected it last night from Casso and to say it's impressive is an understatement

Had a thought that we could replace the Union Jack over the Bounty with the foot.ie flag

but they'd need a very big flag pole. However, won't be releasing it until match day but the where, when and how are what I'll be posting

I took a few outside the ground before we took it to the ground but I'm having a problem uploading them. I also have a few when I had it hung out to put ties on it the Sunday before departure. If somebody could give me a hand with how to upload them give me a shout.

I placed it on the ground behind the goal where the winner was scored. I wasn't allowed put it on the running track because this was needed for the band at half time

. I understand from texts received from Casso during the match (watching in New York) that you couldn't see it too well.

. I haven't seen the match yet (long trip home - see GT BUS thread) but like the team I believe the camera work left a lot to be desired.

RTE filmed quite a lot more than was shown on the news clip and I'll try to get it and put it up here.

I know a few others took photos so there are plenty more around as well.

Thanks to all the foot.ie members who helped with it on its journey. It's now safely home and waiting for the Welsh match.
