So 'l*nger' is a bold word on this forum, what the f*ck!
I noptice it says O2 Park can hold 8k supporters - that surely needs updating or muyst along the jokers claim the cross can hold 12k?
I'd have said 5k for O2 Park myself...
8000 is correct, we had over this when we played Man City a few years ago - it might be a bit of a squeeze but 8000 it is.

8000???? my arse, I was at that Man City game and I'd say that there was about 4-5000 at that game, but yeah it would be nice to see 8000 regularly turning up to watch the claret and blue
on the figure from the club - but then again how much is that worth in Irish soccer.

Exactly, whats the point in getting 5000 + for a game like that when we cant even get over 2000 for a league game????
Again marketing of the league is the answer.
An idea that would be good, but probably shot down like everything else, would be to jazz up the league a bit. I mean Sky did it for the premiership and look where that is now. Imagine if Sky came in and decided that it was going to show live coverage of the EL. It would be brilliant, people would actually turn up as the game would be on SKY, which is quite annoying but its true!!
Another thing that would be good is that if the league adopted a squad number thing for clubs, so that each player has their own number and name on the jersey. Its only a little thing but its stuff like that, that can jazz up the league a bit.
