Thumbs up Limerick 37's upcoming fixture

    Limerick 37 schedule Longford friendly

    February 14, 2007

Limerick 37, one of two new clubs to enter the eircom League of Ireland this year, will take on Premier Division side Longford Town in a pre-season friendly at Flancare Park on Saturday, March 3rd next.

Should make for an interesting fixture, at least we may be able to find out what kind of a squad we have assembled

    F.A.O Oldkeeper..............

Can you at least let us know what players have signed with L37 for the coming season, have we kept onto Buckley, Finnucane, Purcell, Molan, is Fyffe on his way back to us, heard Alan Barry and the Kerry lads were returning also???????????
I would imagine you have most of the squad assembled now so whats with the big hush-hush. Most if not all of the other clubs in the 1st & Prem. inform their supporters of any new signings as soon as they happen, just bit bewildered by the silence, thats all

Best of luck for the new season though, I will be supporting the L37 blues

I reckon the silence must be because most of these players are signed/registered with junior clubs (or else LFC - who might be playing silly beggars). I don't know any of this for a fact; just surmising. L37 can't really announce players until all signed, sealed and delivered. Can you imagine how our junior brethen woul dreact if they see their beloveds posted on a message board as moving to L37? Could annoy people unnecessarily.

Great news on Longford friendly though. I suppose we'll get a fair idea of personeel at that at least.

Same day as the Ireland - Wales match at Croker isn't it?

    Hi west

Sorry but you must remember we have a lot to do the club has only been formed for one month and there is a mountain of work to be completed and a shed load of paperwork to get past BEFORE we can even sign a player so while we would love to announce the squad It may be a day or two yet.

Stick with us and we will stand by you

    League Fixtures

When are they to be announced?
If you're in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options later
