    Gaelic Cup

Read in the paper yesterday about talks going on about a Gaelic Cup ( ROI and Welsh Clubs ). The Welsh League is poor but I think a bit of variety in the clubs we play would be a good thing.

    yes

i would agree with that. You might even be able to tempt in NI clubs if the All-Ireland dimension was taken out. They should give it a go anyway.

    No disrespect but Welsh clubs?

Think we a bit beyond them these days.

Ah sure why not play against the scottish 3rd division like last year.

Well, get rid of the league cup. This would be better. AS for welsh clubs. in that end of season thingy we beat the conference selection and the scots, lost to the welsh. The welsh won it

An itiniative like this would do no harm in terms of stimulating a bit of interest. It probably wouldn't do any harm to clubs' coffers either.
