After the form of recent seasons, we could well be The Waterford Blue Mondays.

That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.
Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Does this take into account that even in the US, the US style is disappearing? MLS clubs seem to be favoring European-type names these days. In some cases, this is a good thing because the previous name was pants (Dallas Burn to FC Dallas). In other cases, it's a dumb and unpopular move (Real Salt Lake in an area with no Hispanic heritage, and no ties to anything monarchist from any nation, Colorado Rapids to Arsenal Colorado, dumping a great locally-flavored name for a copycat identity.) This'd be a hilarious irony... European clubs naming themselves American-style when even American clubs don't name themselves American-style.

Well, MLS is the only American sports league that doesn't follow the CityName Nickname format and to be honest with you I think it is a bad idea for their ability to catch on in the USA. Using European style team names may give the league more international credibility but it makes it strange to the common American.

I like the non-pc and casual rascist naming of the Washington Redskins.....so maybe we could have the Bohemians C*ck suckers.
