To be fair we began to see a bit of that swaggering arrogance near the end.
.........from San Marino
So the way I see it, this basically means we’re probably gonna lose to Germany 14-2...
sickening to compare Ireland's display with that. All bar 2 or 3 of the German goals came with players running onto the ball, not standing aimlessly around the box. Take the direct free-kick as an example - the players waiting for a cross are standing on the edge of the box, not just loitering six yards out. Seeing that really impresses how much of a shambles the Irish performance was![]()
Foot.ie's entire existence is predicated on the average idiot's inability to ignore other idiots
the most telling thing about that is that gremany did it all at a stroll, just shows how far a bit of organisation and interest can do.
arent we all just magic little monkeys...
The key thing with most of the germans goals is that there was plenty of movement, plenty of different options rather than the same approach which we adopted for most of the night.
It was a training session for them. It was like they where going through drills.
Pull my finger!!!
whats the bets the "world class managment team" didnt even look at the vidoe of the Germany San Marino game.Complacency of the highest order.
