Paul on the ticket invoice it's broken down like this (well for me anyway):

    Area-----------Ticket QTY------Ticket Price

    Cusack Lower---- 4 ------------ 70

    boo hoo hoo!
Highlight did you quote your 'customer' reference number when you made the inquiry if you are 4000 on the list your ref is approx WL 18000. It will be listed on all your correspondace from FAI.

Or did you just ring up enquiring about tickets ? I believe one Wexdec guys was 5000 on the list and got offered.

Maybe they didnt receive you request ?

Quoted my ref number and they had my request for upper hogan/cusack (which was submitted before the jan 12 deadline by hand) but because those tickets were gone they did not see fit to allocate me in a different section. My only hope now is if some hill tickets are returned from the away associations!

Welsh FA took their full allocation.

Thats a bit rich that they didn't accommodate you.

It seems strange/unfair that they didnt offer you somewhere else especially if those further down the list got sorted.

Try going down in person and pleading your case, they must hold back some tickets. Good luck

I haven't heard a thing about my allocation. To be honest I only applied so i can go to the home games in October. Was going to give the rest to my dad. It will be easy enough getting tickets. Somebody always knows somebody who has tickets

    Hi All

Just wondering did anyone experience this problem? I got my block booking waiting list invoice this week but I had been in San Marino for the game and got back late friday night to see the letter from the FAI. So posted it off first thing Sat Morning but on the Letter it says has to be with the FAI by COB on Monday. Am going to ring them first thing in the morning to explain but does anybody thing they will still accept my application if it doesnt reach them by Monday?

    Regards

    Murty

Still, the week after an away game isn't ideal to be spending another wad of cash on them.

I wasnt successful with my application. Was in around the 3,500 mark on the waiting list. Not happy about it. I was told that I am still on a list to recieve any that might be returned. Im still pretty confident that ill get a ticket for the games, but it would have been nice to have my own sorted.

It was confirmed. I e-mailed them this morning and got this reply:

Unfortunately, at present you are still on the list to receive tickets.
All available tickets have been allocated to date. We have retained a
list of persons whom still require tickets, however at present we are
not in a position to make any further offers until all current offers
    have been accepted.

We will be in touch as soon as we can confirm.

    Kind regards

    Mary

I was referring to the part below. Don't see how someone on the waiting list for a shorter period of time would be given preference over someone on it longer.

    Waiting list shambles

Does anyone else agree that there is no system to the BB waiting list. I am number 3900 on the waiting list, so you would presume that if there were an extra 12,000 tickets that I would get one.
The FAI have decided to give some people as many as they wanted as long as it helped fill Croke Park. I was told that I was not successful in my application despite the fact that people even further down the list got sorted.
Surely they should have ensured that everyone on the waiting list got at least 1 ticket and them offered them the chance to buy more.
What happens when Landsdowne is redeveloped - Will there be more BBs offered. If so will it be 1 per person on the waiting list or a free for all like Croker.
I am not surprised though having had plenty of problems with the FAI previously with tickets - Further symbolises the lack of professionalism within the organisation

When applying to be added to the waiting list applicants stated the number of tickets required for that block booking. This will be the number taken into account when people are offered a place on the block booking proper.

So if I am number 3900 on list does that mean there are 3899 in front of me or is it 3899 X 2,3,4 (whatever was requested)

There seems to be a growing trend here, so I'll add my name to the list ****ed off with the FAI.

I've been on the waiting list a number of years, last year was told I was around the 1000 mark. Hand delivered my application for tickets to the FAI and they are now telling me that they never received it. Fcuking joke, so ****ed off. So anyone who might have ordered spares I'd be grateful.

Ive a feeling after last weeks shambles not all those allocated will be taking tickets however so just hopeful i might get sorted.

The latter, there are 3899 applicant before yours, each applicant has one or more tickets associated with it.
