Pats, on the other hand, have the same manager and a better team.
what has that got to do with anything?

get back look at the rules and agree with me.

Eh I think they got enough freebies last year, time to pay up

Any Bohs fan who is dumb enough to buy anything off a Shels fan, is probably dumb enough to play well over the odds for it.
    Worth a try anyway.

I'd gladly take that if it meant Shels were gone

If they produce both Season Tickets then they will get a Quarter-Price season ticket for the only club left on the Northside (apart from Rovers - who hopefully soon enough will be back to the Southside)

I love the way everyone around here cries "WUM" when someone expresses an opinion which the don't like. The truth hurts! You've lost your manager and your key players.

Brewer, the rules don't mention a club pulling out.
I do know though that, each association gets to pick who is invited.
    The FAI didn't pick you.

Don't worry about it - you've got a nice run in the FA Trophy to look forward to...

    Ah wait ...

Anyway - as has been stated before - the SSC is an INVITATIONAL tournament- meaning they can invite who the heck they like.

This is an extraordinary situation - in this instance they can chose to interpret their own regs as they see fit. As they see it - Shels aren't the League Champions and therefore DC get upgraded meaning the Cup runners up go in. Maybe they are pre-empting the FAI who may strip Shels of the title this year due to the problems and then remove them from the League.

Can't have a Champions League single entrant from an association who isn't actually a Champion of their League - meaning for UEFA purposes Derry would be recognised as the League of Ireland Champions for 2006 - the FAI might ratify this and award them the trophy for last season

Nah - we'll earn the right to next season - don't you worry

SB: I said TROPHY - not Conference (ah the irony is somewhat lost now - just like Burton down at St George's Lane earlier on this month)

Looks like the FAI are calling in Shels to examine the accounts.

If they find the mismanagement that is there then they are within the rights to revoke the Licence

They have at the moment - ONE senior player on the books and practically NIL coaching staff

UEFA won't be as lax as the FAI when it comes to awarding a UEFA Licence - I'm confident that at this point in time - Shels will be struggling to actually start this season in any form (as the Setanta withdrawal has shown) and sure as hell WON'T be in the Champions League draw come July.

My point was that rules change, and according to the FAI we're in thanks to the rules. And they're more reliable than Fintan
