As an aside, I'd urge people to mention this kind of issue to your local electioneering types over the coming months. It's bloody nonsense that someone in Dahamsta's position, where he's providing a public forum and making reasonable efforts to prevent libel, should not have the full protection of the law here.
The law is, in general, very poorly written to deal with modern technology. For example, I believe that it is technically illegal for you to copy a CD you have bought onto your computer for your own use.
