He did. Net net though, I'd say O'Shea is happy with his week!
8-0 is unreal!
2 ogs though and by all accounts Mannone has had a howler.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
He did. Net net though, I'd say O'Shea is happy with his week!
Good thing he got that contract signed.
Great article by Stephen Hunt on his friendship with O'Shea

Would you get O'Shea's mug tattooed on your body?

4 cleansheets in 6 games for O'Shea as Sunderland beat Newcastle 1-0 at St James' Park in the Tyne-Wear derby.
Poyet praises O'Shea, one of only two players to play every minute of every league and cup game (the other is Ryan Shawcross).

"O’Shea struggled at the start of last season after being given the thankless task of being thrust alongside misfit Bosman signings Valentin Roberge and Modibo Diakite".
"But following the surprise return to fitness of ex-Man United team-mate Brown, O’Shea has been at the heart of Sunderland’s defensive solidity".
“I understand why he played so many years at Man United now.
“I’ve got no doubt that if he was playing with better players than him, it would be very easy.
“If you put him in any team in the world and he was surrounded by better players, then he would be unbelievable.
“Now we’re asking him to do a lot. We’re asking him to be the leader, to mark and to play 90 minutes every game”.
O'Shea was accredited with an unfortunate own-goal today as giant-killing Bradford knocked Sunderland out of the FA Cup: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31479115
Billy Clarke's strike deflected off O'Shea to give Bradford the lead after three minutes.
O'Shea badly at fault as Aston Villa go 2-0 up away to Sunderland.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
The timing isn't too great with regards who's actually available, I don't think. They could do with a Pulis or Big Sam to put them on the right track.
Great shout! Book him Danno!
Seriously too soon for the Polish game
Made MLS Team of the week to boot too!

(There you go Tetsa, a nice little link for you, now put that infraction back in the box!)
O'Shea had a stinker today and was at fault for a few of the goals as Sunderland lost 4-1 to Palace.
I felt bad for John O'Shea watching that game today. In fairness, he was clearly fouled before being dispossessed and giving up one of the goals. I believe he has played every minute for Sunderland in the league so far this season, one of only five non-goalkeepers in the EPL to do that. From what I saw today - he could use a rest.
