    boro 2-1 wembley

thought we deserved at least to bring it to extra time.... graet performance from us.... were the better side in the first half missed numerous great chances but still sufferd a sucker punch just befor half time...... boro on top ofr first 20 of the second half and made it 2-0.... we rallied for the remainder of match and brought it back to 2-1 with 15 to go..... glasheen made a couple good saves and one chance was cleared off the line by a boro defender with about a minute to go...... think anyone that was at it would say we gave boro a good run for there money...

all in all a great season for wembley quarter final of fai, promotion to premier, semi final of lawson........ hopefully we can take our performances against the premier teams this season into next year.. .hope all young lads stay on too...

well done to boro say they will win it now....

The AA keeper Dermot Clune got 13 stitches to his head. By the looks of it I would say Dave Morris got a few also?

Probably the best display of referring I've seen all year.

A/A keeper and Pike's Dave Morris both clashed heads with 20mins to go and and both player had to go off and get hospital treatment. An out field player for A/A then had to go in to goals.
I would not agree with you there jac, I though there was some very good football played at times. Some of the Pike players looked tired on the day also. Good result for AA and from what I saw it could have been more.

Aisling looked a handy side, where was Jason Sheehan? His mate Anto McDonnell looks like he could shead a few pounds!

Surely having the final on Sunday at 3pm isnt the greatest idea ever, with the hurling on aswell, will take from the crowd.I taught that the Lawson cup final was always on a Saturday evening.
    EVERYTHING is black and white

    Thats just textbook................

does not give much time for recovery if the final is on saturday.although it would help anto mc donnell shed those pounds if aisling get there

I'd have to go with an Aisling v Boro final and fancy it to go to Peno's, which could go either way, but I'll stick my neck out and say Aisling.
