Sligo Junior League

Sorry for posting on the rovers forum but i cant find a Sligo Thread on the junior forum. Want to find out some info on ballisodare. We have to play them in the Cup next week ( Snugboro F.C) Thanks

Ballisodare play in the Premier League in Sligo, the second tier,the Super League being the top league.
They arent great to be honest,played against them a few times, have a few scummy players aswell

Thanks. Where are they Based ?? What the facilities like ect ect

bout 7 km outside of town..

eh no! there pitch is being renovated in ballisadare at the minute. they play on the back strandhill road overlookin a big dirty pond in the middle of nowhere....the pitch is horrible! if ye want to play a bit of football ye can try but might be best not to? very poor surface, its literally a field! its where the horse fare is held (gymkanna r sumtin)!! coolera rovers play there also! as for there team there just as bad as the pitch, no one that stands out, big scumbag in the middle of the pitch, dono if hes back from injury yet though!? dirty enough! get at their left back 'ben'. Ben = horrible! 2 centre backs hoof it all day long and are slow on the ground! no real keeper either! fcuk all options going forward also, one 'decent' player and hes still shocking!

I think its Anthony Fallon your on about, Tough but Fair, they Play in Lisheen, & they are third from bottom in the league, The beat Claremorris 3-2 (aet) in the last round.

As secretary of Ballisodare United I'll ignore all those offensive and ill informed comments about our club and players just to say to Pixiehead that my mobile number is in the FAI Junior Cup directory and you can ring me at any time for directions and any other information you require, I would have been in touch with your club during the week in any case. As to the merits or otherwise of our team probably the best person to contact is the manager of Mayo Super League team Claremorris.

We done them 6-2 and 3-0 in the league this year. They are struggling big time - Anthony Fallon is a strong player in the middle of the Park and Burnsy is probably there only other player of note.

As for the comments regarding Lisheen - having played on it four or five times over the last few years against Carbury it was one of the best surfaces in the league. Now it may have taken a hit this year with two teams playing on it so I'm not sure if that is still the case. No dressing rooms either for visiting teams.
