Limerick 37 Or Wexford??

Now that Limerick FC has seized to exist we can get on with the process of finally have a proper run senior soccer club in the Treaty city. So far i have been hugely impressed with the transparency that Limerick 37 have conducted their business in and could not fault them. So when will we know whether or not the FAI have granted them the licence and how much of a threat is being posed by this Wexford setup. It would be a travesty if the FAI turned it's back on such a proud footballing city in favour of Wexford but remember this is the FAI we are dealing with. Have Limerick 37 been given any assurances from the FAI so far??

Both can get in, surely?

Limerick 37 and Wexford will replace Limerick FC and Dublin City.

There are two spots to be filled in the league (one due to the demise of Dublin City during last season, the other due to Limerick FC losing its licence), so unless some other dark horse suddenly appears on the scene, I'd say it's reasonably well asssured that both Wexford and Limerick37 will be playing in the First Division this coming season.
