anyone know how the meeting of the clubs went lastnight?
im not 2 up on this whole thing but is it that there are people trying to get two teams into the EL?

No, there isn't room for two. LFC want to retain their position. L37 are applying for a position - which would be available if LFC fail.

Apparently Drew lost, so it's looking good for L37. It was on RTE.

Edit, just to clarify- this wasn't the winding up order case, it was the injunction against L37 and Wexford, sorry, probably wrong thread there!

Only one team and that will hopefully be Limerick 37. also the clubs votedin favour of the proposals last night. so a good 12 hours or so. might be the best 12 hours in limerick senior soccer history

why do clubs/people have to be so small minded,

How can not having a EL club be good in any way for a city the size of Limerick. What possible motive would clubs have for objecting.......

We dont need names

The overwhelming number of clubs supported the move to facilitate Senior soccer and while thee may have been a few delegates who did not want to decide on the night this was only to facilitate a discussion in their own clubs

Especially Meanus which has been torn asunder by the split on sock colours. The Real Meanus refuse to deal with or even pass to the Continuity Meanus faction. Parkville just don't talk, period.

They should breakaway and form their own league with just the "BIG TWO"
