Newcastle United to play Rovers in friendly?

Heard this morning that Rovers are lined up to play Newcastle United next month. The Toon Army are out of the FA Cup so will have a free weekend. Could be some truth in this, the Farmer having played for them.

newcastle .....doubt it! dont think they'd want to travel to play a friendly and risk even more injuries to their already well depleted squad! who told you that?

hope we can get at least one game against a side with more quality than the 3 mentioned....no dis-respect at all intented to swinford, or monaghon, as for the other crowd i couldnt care less! hopefully a few of the trialists will impress! and some of the younger lads also!

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
