    So you are happy now??

Ive always said that i firmly believe that most people are idiots, and from what ive been hearing since last night proves it. We won ONE game and all of a sudden Liam Murphy is great. It was an okay performance against 10 men. George is as big a cheat as Hawkins.

I will not be attending any City games until Liam Murphy is no longer manager.

Why don't you write to Brian Lennox and tell him that? It'll have a much better affect than just not going to the games.

No GWA, I for one am not happy. I was not happy that we won last night because yet again our home form is covering up too much sh!t. The only positive I can take from last night is that I might still get a trip to a uefa cup game.
I honestly believe that if our home and away form were reversed and we had only one win at home all season there would be a lot more unhappy people. Instead people are blinded by the home results and our false position in the table. Some people like to delude themselves into thinking we are doing very well, I even had people telling me last night that I should be happy if we finished 3rd! These people are loyal City fans but are being decieved by our home form.
We beat Shels big deal, in the last 3 weeks we have been beaten by the bottom team, drawn with an inferior Longford side and hammered by Rovers. Whats to be happy about?
I am not going to make a statement saying that I'll stop attending games because I will never follow through on that. However if some kind of boycott was to be organised it should be done properly with a number of people standing outside protesting. One or two people saying they won't attend games will achieve nothing. It needs to be a noticable group for Lennox to sit up and take notice.

Well obviously This is once again an indictment of the fickle nature of city fans. Just as one loss doesn´t make the guy a good manager, one win doesn´t make him a god.

I don´t think it would work. There would be too many people who would nbot want to sign under the watching eyes of the club, and I would imagine the club would stop it taking place anyway. Also the queues to sign a petition could cause delays and problems

No. I am not happy. In general despite bad performances occasionally, our home form has not been a problem.
It is our away form that is appauling and it is only the few fans that have seen away matches that seem to be really annopyed with Murphy.

then get people out with clipboards, biros and petitions at a good distance from the cross. people walk from and park all over the place. have people out by musgrave park, at capwell bus depot, evergreen street, top of south douglas road etc etc.

no watching noelle there and queues wouldn't cause problems.

    maybe?

I just don´t think it would work. I´m not naming names, but there appears to be an idea with one (or maybe more) people at CCFC that no dissent should be allowed. Anyway, what good would a petition be if the club just refused to accept it

Who do you mean James? I was referring to the club as a whole, I couldn´t see any club anywhere taking a petition from fans to sack a manager- it would be tantamount to admitting the club have no confidence in him, something which they´re obvviously unprepared to admit/realise now

if you eanna or someone wants to do a petition
    then do it
and put it into a letter and address it to the club

how are they not going to get it, provided you use the right address

now whether its read/beleived/acted on is a whole other kettle of tuna..

ask yourself firstly what would be the point / purpose of such a petition.. and whether a petition is the right way to fullfill this goal
    - if it is then do it -

It was done on friday Pete and not very successfully imo. People held them up at first but then got bored and threw them away, also a lot of kids thought they were for confetti and just tore them and threw them in the air when teams came out.
Banners are the only way to go.

you could always send the petition to the Echo (except not to Noel Spillane).

they could make a big story out of it?

Id like to know who the hell noelle thinks she is? There she is trotting about being who but herself. She tried to have James attacked by Gunther at the forum the other night, she is going around telling people what they can and cannot say, taking photos etc.

Is she a complete looper or what??

As for a petition. Well you are expecting that those who you would present it to you could actually care less what us minions think!

i couldn't go to the match

    on Friday Night, working........
but having watched Tv3's coverage this morning after work, the players seemed to be going out of their way to include Liam in their goal celebrations!
