Ok, first off let me admit I know very little about computers (this question may make that fact retty obvious anyway).
My question is.........
If I want to link to another site, for example the BBC, I can copy the BBC page adress, which will look something like this......
www.bbc.co.uk/sport/126235asd123
or even another port on foot.ie, which will look something like this..........
www.foot.ie /forums.thread12312341414
(Except all the adress will be in green)
Right, I know how to do that.
But I see that others on here, when they provide a link, do it like so....
From the BBC
or
This post from the Limerick forum
When clicked on, these links still direct you to the source.
How do I do it?
MODS - feel free to delete the entire thread if you want.
Nah, its grand ... we'll leave it up in case someone else wants to do the same.
Here is a link to support pages, and here is a link to what you asked.
In short, when you are replying/posting in a thread, and you want to create a link to some where else ...
- Just type the text you want to create the link with
- Highlight it and then click on this icon
- Another little window will pop up.
- Paste the link you want to people to go to and then click OK and that should do it for you.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
