    Free sports TV

If this works you'll never need your TV again!
Football, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB the lot!

All of this has happened before. All of it will happen again.

YOu need a fair few programmes if you want the lot. I use TVU and sopcast and usually see what I want to. Iused to use pplive but found it annoying.

Usually about 90 seconds - 2 minutes behind your "normal" tv pictures

I use it aswell TVU is defo the best of the lot .

i presume its legal as you cant copyright television for viewing, only if you plan to reproduce it (ie you can tape a match and give it to a mate to watch but you cant start running off copies and selling them).other wise VCR's and SKy plus boxes would be highly illegal .

Not sure it is. You know the internet... There's definitely braodcast rights issues and due to the nature of it some channels are shut down without notice

You get whatever people are willing to relay. If somebody egts the pay per view boxing and is willing to transmit it over the internet then yeah. I watch pay per view football on it but usually on one of the asian channels who show it "free" (Star sports take the sky commentary)

anto: i would go with dodge on this, there has to be broadcasting issues here, especially when it comes to pay per view, i mean pay per view means exactly that, if i want to watch it i have to pay for it.

but anyhow lest just hope no one shuts it down. i wonder will pubs start cracking into this market soon enough.

what is the quality like? i watched freelivesoccer and it was watchable, but not a great deal better than that really.

Well they've all been going for ages now so no reason to see it be any different

Quality varies but usuallu very watchable. Not tv in pub quality but good enough for home PC...
