Stu,
Things as simple as;
1) Do not put name on list if you don't intend going to game.
2) Remove your name from list if you get sorted for tickets.
3) Reply to PM's if you recieve them from other members.
4) Maximum of 2 tickets
There's been a few requests for rules for the ticket waiting list threads, so I said I'd open this thread to get suggestions for rules.
Are we talking something as simple as first-come-first served on the lists? Or are there other problems people have come across? Post away what the problems are and we can try and get some rules done up.

If you have your name on the list and do not remove it or accept the tickets offered then you should be blacklisted from future lists.
The main reason, I suppose, why people would put their name up and then not reply to PMs/take their name off the list is that they're very irregular posters on the forum. Are we then trying to ensure that the regular posters here get the first call? (Which I don't really have a problem with).
I think everyone has their names on the list as a safety in case the FAI don't come good - I don't see any real problems with that? Applying for a ticket is no guarantee of getting one, so you may as well be covered on both sides. Similarly, if you're going to try here for a ticket, you might as well try with the FAI first.
People not replying to PMs is a problem, especially with the time frame; maybe check their profile to see when they were last online to ensure it isn't just that they aren't around?
Anyone who says they have spares and then is shown not to come good can be barred from the list for future games, as I would imagine it'd more of a problem if you set someone looking for tickets against someone who has tickets, and by the time you realise they're not going to come good, it's too late to make alternative arrangements and that person gets screwed over.
So in summary, I'd propose -
1) Do not put name on list if you don't intend going to game.
2) Post if you get sorted for tickets, or PM the moderator.
3) Reply to PM's if you receive them from other members.
4) Maximum of 2 tickets per poster.
5) If you say you have spare tickets and then don't deliver, we reserve the right to not include you on future lists.
6) Refuse entry onto List anyone by the name " Moscow Mule "......![]()
Just realised that this is kind of different to my point 5, so in it goes too. It'll have to be subject to a decent period of time, obviously - maybe a week for people to come on and say whether they've gotten tickets, are still waiting or definitely haven't gotten any?
RULES -
1) Do not put name on list if you don't intend going to game.
2) Post if you get sorted for tickets, or PM the moderator.
3) Reply to PM's if you receive them from other members.
4) Maximum of 2 tickets per poster.
5) If you say you have spare tickets and then don't deliver, we reserve the right to not include you on future lists.
6) If you have your name on the list and do not remove it or accept the tickets offered then you should be blacklisted from future lists.
7) If you have spares and you pm the person on top of the list and they don't reply within 24hrs, you can pm the next person on the list (and so on).
or in the alternative,
post that you have tickets and the person highest on the list who pms you within 24hrs gets the tickets.
Yeh superdave 's point makes sense. I was going to suggest that if people on the list did not respond by Monday lunchtime in the case of a Wednesday game then it would be first come first served.
There'll be snow on that one.

can you give us the most up to date waiting list so we can see whos on... some of us secured additional tickets to help others not on the BB list and what do we get in thanks... not even decent courtesy if the messages on this are anything to go by

My suggestions
Sticky thread to be put by Moderator 2 months before each game. No threads allowed before that time (to be removed by Moderators)
Thread to be started by Moderator at the same time inviting people to post ticket requirements (2 max)
Moderator to update sticky with the names in the order in which requests are posted. it will be done and maintained on a first come first served basis.
No later than 2 weeks before each game the poster should PM the moderator to say if they still need the tickets.
If the Moderator does not hear from the poster 2 weeks before the game their request is automatically removed by the Moderator.
Up to date list of will be available 2 weeks before all games.
Tickets to be offered to those at the top of the list and as they receive (sort out tickets) they notify the Moderators who will update the sticky and so on and so on.
In this way the mods will be able to see who is using and abusing the system.
I know it's work for the Mods but it needs somebody to control it and there the ones best placed or the Great Dahamasta.
Spare ticket list thread could work similarly except that spares wouldn't be known until closer to the match and the time frame wold be very short

Gonna leave this up another couple of days to see if any more suggestions come in, although AidoM's comments do make sense as a refinement of what we already have.
I'll sim to get Wales and Slovakia (at home) waiting lists up and running by Monday? Bit short notice, unfortunately, but we'll see how it runs and then aim to be up and running by the Czech and Slovak away games in September.
