here for waiting times and pass rates by centre -some are easier than others by some margin

Get a letter from work on headed paper saying that they need you to drive for them urgently, that should help quicken up the proccess (it worked for anyone I done it for anyway).

Well obviously you need to know how to drive and have a good, clear understanding of the rules of the road!!! Get a letter from work, or just ring and ask for a cancellation, do a load of pre-tests and one on the day of the test and you should be fine!
Then again, I did 2 pre-tests, one about 6 months before my test and one 2 days before, did the test, and passed first time!!!

If you need it for work, and you are willing to accept cancellations meaning you could have very little notice. I accepted this and got my test within the month. However this was 8 years ago.

Once you've applied you can get the cancellation within a month, otherwise the letter from work will do it.

Failed it over here in london last year, went home last thursday did a days driving , sat it on friday and passed. Its ridiculously simple to england, but a fella who is an instrutctor in my home town said it is going to be adapted like England. YOu arent allowed any majors( or seriouses = pinks, majors = blue in england) in England, yet you are allowed 9 in Ireland.....add to that you are only allowed up to 15 minors.Just passed my driving test first go this morning.
