All of this has happened before. All of it will happen again.
Heary will almost certainly be joined at Bohs by Glen Crowe, whose request to leave for free is now unlikely to be opposed by Shels. The club already has had to pay €5,000 for each of three players' cases it contested in vain.Heary, 30, will almost certainly be joined at Bohs by Glen Crowe, whose request to leave for free is now unlikely to be opposed by Shels. from the same Sun piece
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls
Looks like King alright....

had this mail from a Swindon fan
"Here that former Swindon 'legend' Andy King is taking over at Shels... Not sure about that one, he did ok for us for a while, good signer of players but zero tactical nous"
Oh dear...although we certainly need a good signer for players considering we have none.
Scored a great goal for Everton V Liverpool in 1977. Its probably on youtube if you can be bothered looking for it.

FAI pro Licence
According to this article for European competitions the coach needs the highest licence that is available in that country. By that logic any club needs a Pro Licence qualified coach to get a Uefa Licence.
Coach would have to be from this list? The participants were:Tony Cousins (Galway United), Alan Mathews (Longford Town), John McDonnell (St Patrick’s Athletic), Pat Fenlon (Derry City), John Gill (Dundalk), Paul Doolin (Drogheda United), Pete Mahon (UCD), Damien Richardson (Cork City), Don Givens (Ireland U21 manager), Paul Clement (Ireland U21 assistant manager), Joe Boyle (Ireland U17 coach), Noel King (Ireland Senior Women’s Team Manager), Packie Bonner (FAI Technical Director), Noel O’Reilly (FAI Head Coach), Paul Ashford (Skonta Riga FC, Latvia), Brian Kerr, Pat Dolan, Mike Kerley and Tony Mannion.
No-one said it was easy, but neither is it anywhere near as impossible as you are implying.
There is a sizeable and growing list of fan-centred clubs that you can learn from :
AFC Wimbledon
AFC Telford
FC United of Manchester
Clydebank FC
FC Salzsburg
All of those clubs operate at a much lower level than the Eircom League Fisrt Division and, dare I say it, some even have a smaller fan-base than Shels !
Or lookling closer to home - how about Limerick 37 for an example of a club who have usurped an already existing entity.... ?
I guess the key difference between that list of clubs I gave and Shels is that the others have supporters who are genuienly passionate about their club, don't put up withe sh!t, and are by-and-large over the age of 12.....
the demise of Shels is truely a sad story, how much did they pay for Crowe, and loosing him on a free- also i feel sorry for Ollie Byrne- i don't have much time for him but, but at least he had a go at trying take shels to the next level, this has leeds and Risdale written all over it,
Andy King.... just made me think of my old football card collection from 1978!!
Who Cares?!
Well if Stephen Geogho is the new manager this post may be irrelevant.
Dermot Keely would not be the next Shels manager for two very pertinent reasons 1) He doesn't have the Pro Licence mentioned earlier and
2) Working for Ollie last time left him a broken man and he needed a break to recuperate... or have people forgotten?
Geoghegan doesn't have the pro licence mentioned earlier either.
