    Some fairly large transfer news

Gary Rogers is on trial at Stockport and Dunfermline are apparently after Noel Hunt.

I've seen Rogers in a few games this year for Drogheda and he's a very good 'keeper, definitely good enough to play for Stockport anyway.

I don't see Hunt going to Dunfermline as they aren't really that big a club. I think he's very capable of playing in Division 1 or 2. Although the best move for both players in question would be to stay put. They'll develop more in Ireland.

Although Drogheda in their financial plight may have to sell Rogers.

A worry for Drogs might be they have to release him and he gets snapped up on a free. I'd say at this point they'd be mad not to take a fee for ANYONE, especially their full timers.

Since Dempsey moved with such ease from Waterford last year to the Dunfermline 1st team this season i'd say they would be aware of the bargains available in the eL from now on.

I think selling players who will go on Bosmans soon applies to Rovers and Hunt more than anyone else. Especially with the stadium project in dire need of an injection.
