Would you not have to use a different name due to legal reasons or something like that? Seeing as the new team that has applied for a place in the league is a separate entity to the team from last season would the name not have to be changed slightly?

the thing about all the above suggestions is that ye think that its quite funny,but the problem with people like the above is that ye can slag off limerick but if it was your city that was being referred to as above,then ye would not be too happy either and would defend your county quite quickly. sorry for the rant cos i know some are takin the **** but this is exactly what gives limerick the reputation it has. People are working hard in limerick to change its image and it probably the most progressive city in ireland at the minute and definately have a senior soccer side to be proud of.
