Watching Soccer AM the other morning they were interviewing a band called "The View" who are tipped to be the next big thing. They played a clip of their new single and sounded pretty good, worth checkin out I'd say.

Single is fantastic. My wife heard it and thought it was Cornershop. The young fellah (and he is a young fellah ...17 or 18 I'd say) does have a bit of an "affectation".
The sped up bit at the end is blatantly the bass line to FBS' remix of Brimful of Asha as well which is quite a coincidence.
Nonetheless ...Righteous. Like I said about Fratellis -it's all I ask pop music to be.

worth checking out the View's 1st single - wasted little dj's. Got to see em support the babyshambles last year before they had released anything and have to admit I thought it was some prank when they lined up on stage. Looked like a school band!!! But hey they can play and will hit the big time once the album is released.

Te view are decent, wouldnt be too mad about them...
Did you hear how they ended up supporting babyshambles...The view were big fans and they threw a cd into their Tour Bus, Doherty was so impressed he got them to support them that very night...
