    Lightbulb

    Oh yeah the point.........

Sights point to city finishing in a similar position (need 3rd for europe) this season...

Two mid table seasons alone should be enough for Liam Murphy to leave CCFC at the end of the season.

btw just before last fridays game I thought we'd slim hopes of a title but then realised we had to travel to Bohs, Pats & Longford & on the basis of fridays game unlikely to pick anything out of those games at all....

well no actually now i think he does share the opptimism

before rovers we were potentially 6points behind after game in hand and murphy ruled out the possibility of winning league wanting to finish as high up table as possible

now we miles behind 11pts and gunther talks now of not giving up on the league but trying to win all the remaining 9 games and 27 points left.. he said he'll take chances to win them

    final position

I could definitely finishing as low as sixth.

Our home is now dropping off as well and Longford and Derry aren't that far behind us.

It's vital we don't lose on Friday cos a euro place is still a possibility.

If we lose on Friday, then the season is over, end of story. If we win, itll give us a glimmer of hope again, if we draw, id almost say that our season is finished as well.

so its a must win for both teams.

Reckon with the form Rovers are in that anything less than all 3 points on Friday will kill off Europe.

Remember cos Derry won the FAI Cup 3rd place will only get the el toto cupo.

Failure to win on friday will pretty much eliminate any chance at 2nd place given shels already have a game in hand over us.

In fact given our failures away from home (can anyone see that changing now?) we'd probably have to win all our remaining home games to even have a chance at 3rd place.

Murphy will not come up with a master plan to win away before the end of the season.
