    Ntl

Rang them a few months ago to complain about a recurring re connection fee that appears on my bill every two months. The re connection charge is a mistake that they have already said they would clear but haven't.

The other day I finally got through and told them I was leaving to switch to SKY as I'm sick of their continued nonsense. They talked me out of and gave me two months free. - Happy Days..... you would think.....WRONG !

Got home today to find I'm cut off. Rang them and they inform me I'm down as a former customer. The brain dead girl on the line couldn't re connect me either.

Now I'm paid up to February and am defo switching to Sky but how can I get my money back from those ****ers at NTL.

Sorry for the language but I'm livid.

Do you pay by DD or CC? If CC, do a chargeback with the provider. If DD you're screwed unless you take them to small claims court.

Write a letter to them, which isn't dictated by emotion, detailing all the incidents and tell them that you're seeking legal advice.
    Works every time.
Vodafone still treat me like a king, 3 years after I had them over a barrell for neglegence, which left me abroad with a disconnected phone.

In find Vodafone's customer service woefully bad, and their service patchy as hell in certain areas (three of which I lived in, which is how I discovered the bad CS).

BT Ireland continue to impress me - NOT - having made themselves absolutely impossible to contact at this point, with hold times close to an hour and all electronic forms of contact disappearing into the ether. I had to contact the Head of Consumer Sales & Service and the CEO to get attention, for the second time; this being the third time I had to kick up a major fuss to get attention.

Even Sky, who used to be a pleasure to deal with, have sunk to employing people that seem a bit lost. (Although they know a TON more than Chorus CS, obviously. They don't know ANYTHING.)

Will CS in Ireland ever improve?

When I ring Vodafone, I get straight through.
At most, I'll be on hold for less than one minute.
    It pays to complain.

I had to deal with Vodafone in the UK for years and their CS is outsourced so more often than not, you're dealing with someone who has no idea what they're talking about.

I think a lot of CS is outsourced but depends who they are & where they located. Heard recently that a lot of blue chip companies will outsource locally even if more expensive as operators will be familiar with little things like geography.

Brother had a lot of trouble with B&Q recently & I believe they outsourced the calls to India & deliveries to external company. Apparently deliveries so bad they cancelling the outsourced contract.

My favourites were Gateway when had irish operation. Their CS so bad they sent me incorrect PC spec & then when replaced that would not com eback to collect original delivery.

I don't have a problem with getting through to Vodafone (and didn't say I did). I have a problem with not getting service, and not getting a CS rep that'll make any effort to provide a service.

Believe me, I know it pays to complain. I have several sites archived to prove it.

And these are the people you're proud to have treat you like a king. Whereas the civil servants treat you like **** and you complain.

No, no, no Dodge. These people don't treat me like a king because I bypass them. That's why I don't have to stay on hold for an hour, like most other people.

You on your 1410 coffee break now?
I'll wait until your 1515 coffee break, if you can't think of a response at this moment.

Aldini98, write them a letter of complaint. You can use mine.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Its also worth contacting this lot and reporting it. They'll give you advice on what to do and if enough people contact them then they can step in.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
