    The 2006 Foot.ie Awards - The Results

    Got round to correlating this now - so results will be posted as and when done:

    First up - General League Awards:

    Best Chant
    Winner: A 10-way tie here
    - highlights include:
    "Your not famous anymore"-GUFC fans to Rovers fans.
    "We are the UC, the UCDD"

    Best Goal
    Winner: Glen Crowe vs UCD

    Hero of 2006
    Winner: Maxi McAllister
    Runners-Up: John "The Saviour" Delaney , Stephen Kenny, Mad Tom, Pat Fenlon ("for putting up with Oily for so long")
