    "Murphy Out minority"?

I'm sick of hearing Liam Murphy say things like "I don't care what they (the fans) think", "All I'm interested in is my players". I'm sick of hearing Noel Spillage write off the 'Murphy out' chants and banners as "just a minority".

If Liam Murphy was genuinely interested in his players and the club in general he wouldn't be constantly shafting players like Mull and Cronin. He wouldn't be still here at all for that matter because he is ruining our club.

If Noel Spillane wasn't getting junkets and all sorts off CCFC he might actually have a impartial opinion.

We need more MURPHY OUT banners and posters at the Shels game to show that we are the majority.
I have a poster ready made if anyone wants a copy just email casegrande@corkcityfc.net

Also, am I correct in saying that Liam Murphy said after the 4-1 defeat to Rovers that City had "no chance of winning the league now"? Why then after the UCD defeat does he turn around and say that "there is 27 points to play for and I want to win all them. This team desreves to win something" ????????????

One thing that was very telling on friday in Belfield was the fact that not one person objected to the Murphy Out protest. It was the first time that happened, before there would always be an annonymous voice shouting shut ya boll0x or put that fcuking thing away.
In fact, other City fans were actually encouaging us to hold up the banner. So, Spillane you can shove your minority where the sun don't shine because as far as I can see there is now an overwhelming majority that want Gunther out.

If the unthinkable happens next Friday & Shels take the lead, I think the whole ground will start getting onto Murphy. Unfortunatley the players on the pitch will probably feel the brunt of it.

Here's another thought on next Friday; less than 3 weeks after Gunther threw the towel in (after losing 4-1 to shams), Shels could close the gap at the top to 6 points with a game in hand and a game at home to Bohs coming up in December. And to think they were still behind us after the hammering in Inchicore.

Shams are 2 points behind us with a game in hand & Derry are 6 points behind us with 2 games in hand. We will finish 5 at best the way we are going, but what worries me is if Murphy doesn't quit, will Lennox have the balls to change things. If he doesn't, then the home crowds we gained this year due to floodlight football will be lost, our best playes will go, and it will be all downhill from there.

The rest of the country think we are mad for wanting him out because we are near the top of the table, but in the next 4 weeks (Shels, Derry, Drogs & Bohs) we will lose 2 or 3 and draw the rest. Everybody will start to see our genuine position in the league table by then.

another thing was listening to trev big red bench yesterday..and right after the spillane report etc etc and comments from murph about it only being a media conspiracy that want him out and a media conspiracy that was holding the flag, you get 10 txts for him to resign or be fired as city manager and only 1 in favour of him

maths wasnt a strong point eh liam i guess

10 out 11 city fans cant be wrong

or maybe its now a conspiracy from the big red bench that wants murphy out and they are making up the txts against murphy , so that trev can realise a lifelong dream and play and manage and take the penalties for cork city

btw i'd advise everyone no matter what side they are on , on this subject to text trev / big red bench or email him , as he does look at and read out all comments as he read out mine last night for my 30secs of fame

looks like he is as good as gone at this stage. maybe not asap but certainly at the end of the season. How do i know?

I was in lennox's talking to one of the guys behind the counter discussing the season so far and he said Murphy is "under terrible f**ing pressure and has been advised by Dave Barry to walk away".
