Is there another round of licenceing in March?

In Todays Irish Times Emmet Malone mentions a further round of licenceing in March, suggesting (as mentioned in another thread) that Shels qualification for the Champions league may thus be in doubt.

Only for teams entering Europe. So Shels, Derry, Drogheda and Cork.

So then the question would be that if Shels are denied a licence, would the teams next in position to take the resulting vacant place qualify for the licence?
Those teams would be St Pats and who else.
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!

exactly, it's a UEFA license that those teams need to get to play in Europe.

Mostly the paper work is a formality and the clubs focus on their grounds, which in Drogheda's case will be Dalyer.

surely their premier license is in jepordy now. I'm sure not paying players wages is an issue when obtaining a license. Obviously when they obtained 280 points or so from the IAG they told a few porkies or they wouldn't have got so many points

Reports on Shelsweb suggest all players are now free agents. So they have no manager, no players and their first competitive fixture is about 6 weeks away.

That sounds familiar to a few of us from the South-East...
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

According to Smithers over onthe Shels MB, there was an article in the "Irish" Mail on Sunday about Shels possibly losing their UEFA license.

The processs for awarding UEFA licences to play in Europe begins in March and the article suggests that Shels wont get one. It says Derry would move up to the CL, with St Pats going into the UEFA Cup.

Also a full page article on the back page of the Title supplement in the same paper
