A Face, Your a Genius...mind you the player we thought he had the biggest influence on is still at the club, Young Chrissy Turner, who has the most potential than any other young player in the league IMO.
Sligo go forth with a plan
I WONDER if Sligo Rovers manager Rob McDonald has under-estimated the extent of the number of players that have left the club in the last few weeks. He can only negotiate with each player on an individual basis and in truth, the fact that he individually explained the reasons behind the departure of each of the ten players no longer with the club goes a long way in explaining why the players involved left.
There is no doubt that Sean Connor’s influence left its mark. I’d say as many as five of the first team squad of last season might well feature in a Bohemians shirt at some stage next season. Players form bonds with managers and McDonald is left to rue the fact that Harpal Singh, Darren Manasaram and Liam Burns are all intent on following Connor to Dublin. It’s a pity because Rovers are the real losers.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
