Rumour has it that Celtic are off to the High court next week charged with false advertisement

. Posters for their game Vs Finn harps at the weekend read " Eircom League Friendly". When the punters turned up they where not impressed to see that only one Eircom League team Had shown up

3 - 2 to Harps........ In other news i wasnt at Terryland friday for our friendly but the Lads tell me they dont ee much of a spark in Derek Glynn. Has played two games now and hasnt impressed. Hope this will change

As a final word Don I was comparing the styles of both teams - nothing else -if you think I make no sense then don't bother crawling out from under the rock to reply. We have no superiority complex about how the game is played over here - I just think that if you have good facilities the way the game is being played should be improving and the long ball / hacker stuff should be on the way out.

If I'm way off the mark at least you can call me consistent.

Pixiehead, I tried to start a Galway League forum last year as a fool called 'gazza2' had me annoyed to the hilt with posting galway stuff on the wrong forum and being a pest in general. It never took off. Would you think it's time for one or does a secret one exist somewhere else we don't know about so we can't 'peer over the fence' at ye like you do?

No Galway League Forum exists as does no Sligo one. Forums only exist for the Eircom league users. Its lack of junior league users that they dont exist. As for peering over the fence i have a Galway United avitar because im a die hard Fan but im based in Mayo so im Not exactly being a nosey so and so

And if your from Westport why are you interested in the Galway League

In the words of Laurel or was that Hardy 'Another fine mess you got me into'. Accepting the Chairmanship at the Blue Bombers was always going to see me get landed with days like this. I dont mind just I would sooner be elsewhere.

Not really - just wondering - I would have thought that Connacht leagues with big name teams like Abbey and Mervue would have their own discussion threads. Never implied you were nosey - the site is free to use by all. I think all Mayo Junior League Club fans would be interested in haveing a Galway junior League thread - would help with info sharing and the like - ya know?

100 Euro actually but I take your point. That money goes into costs but it dont matter.The league wont be getting hold of it.I'll have a second person with me if I have to drag them kicking and screaming!!!

yeah i played against glynn last year and when hes playing well hes on fire but if things arent going too well for him then he simply doesnt want to know.in the two games he played against us last year he was brilliant in one and desperate in the other,although our centre half did have a great game that day also.i'd really like to see him doing well for galway but think i'll have to agree with renovator in saying that i think it could be too late for him.and i dont think that hes quite up to standard to play eircom league football unfortunately.

Ya ill have to go with that too cloggs.. Probably too late for him especially since we have gone full time
