Maybe the Mayo league should hold a workshop for all club P.R.O's ( and it's own for that matter!!). I'm sure Tom Kelly, Padraig Burns, and the other scribes could also give their input on what info they see as important when giving reports. From Junior down to the under 8's in every club they all like to read about themselves, their achievements and performances on and off the field. A good PRO is the best recruitment officer for any club. The PR for the Mayo league and also the Youths and schoolboys League is a shambles at the moment and the sooner the league acts on this the better. The Internet is a powerful tool as everyone here knows, as is the local papers. The Mayo league and the Mayo Youths Leagues admin do not seem to realise this though.
Have to agree with what you've said ranger, but not too many reports since this post! Its interesting to plough through the web and see how many clubs in mayo league have websites, and if they are updated on a regular basis. Just as you, (and reno i think), have said before, why does'nt everyone post a link to any relevant mayo league websites (club or otherwise) on this forum? Probably our best source of info with the mayo website still not updated? Anyone any thoughts???

Maybe in time th ey might cover the strange world of Foot.ie and the colourful characters who live in its shadowed underground.......... The creative Fahyforever, the menacing Mandarinfrogs, the informative thunderblaster ect ect and all the masked creatures who live in this secret undergrowth of diction and misspelling. GO On Give us a Mention !!!!!!!!!![/QUOTE]

mayo cup semi final game against Celtic A vs friendly game against Celtic C, i hope you can see the difference

this was a FRIENDLY, we had 24 players up at the match, 22 got a game and their was 1 very good player missing, so best 11 was never on pitch at ANY one time.

and as for bunch of kids, celtic c are in the same division "2A,2B" as town, and from what i seen celtic c will do a good job in their side of the division, this is the standard of this leauge, this was a good run out "training" for both teams

JB, he is not a ref

ya big job for scooby, but its a game at the end of the day.
i take it all back enjoy div 2,,, you could be there for a while!!!!!!!!!!
celtic c is their 3rd team .the town is a first team
J B is one of the top ref's in mayo i just think you should be uping your standards to get out of that div.....

That's a bit of a strange one even for the Mayo league banned from being a suporter but not from playing in games.

100 % agree, think a fit stevie ryan would walk on to any super league team and fill centre midfield position without question, agressive and hungry....

Nah, That's all Dave Breen. Does anyone have a full list of fixtures for Mayo Junior football for the whole season? I asked the Snugboro Secretary but he only had a few weeks.
