He had an assist* in the equalising goal too.

Alan Hansen already mentioned him on MOTD

(*he held keeper Colin Doyle down on the ground)

    2 big atitudes there.
I wonder if Colin 'Im to good to go on loan to the league of ireland' had a go off him afterwards.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

What good has it done ?

Is the money going towards debts that were built up having those players in the first place or where is it going ??
I see nobody has answered this question.

    Where is the money going?

Is Lennox taking it out of the club?

That's just sad! Just to show there's no hard feelings, I hate Drogheda, it's a dump! Well done Roy, let's hope it's the first of many. He didn't do to bad when he came on.

The money is to be used to pay for half price fish suppers for City fans until the cash runs out...

I thought you take an interest in how the club is being run?

Cork have the biggest average crowds in the League, have probably received about 2 years wages in transfer fees in the last 18 months and are probably only mid-table in the wage paying stakes.

Either a lot of other clubs are about to go to the wall (which is highly possible!) or somebody is taking money out of the club.

Sorry, I can't give you a certain answer.

    That's beside the point.
You asked it matter of factly.
I'm not being smart but how would we know?

    One can only speculate.
New training ground in the offing.
New City Centre premises (unsure if this is rented or mortgaged)
    New General Manager
New Director of Media and Operations
    New Commercial Manager
Club Promotions Officer (making up a shortfall in his wages after FAI grant or so I heard.)

As for on-field, I wouldn't be surprised if the money-men have already decided to wait til next pre-season to invest further in the playing staff (and possibly management) given the way our season has gone.
At least, that's what it looks like to me.

E1m would not pay for 2 years wages. Maybe 8 months.

I am sure there is money to invest on the pitch but only time will tell. It should be remembered we don't have owners pouring millions into the club like Drogs & Pats. We would be more similar to Derry City but with larger wage bill.

Yours must be big then as ours was rumoured to be between E25-30k a week at the start of the season.

Not sure what the post-Frodo clearout has done to that.
