FM07 - Eircom Teams Credabilities.. Have your say!

Since the Eircom League is not up to screatch within FM07 I want to alter the team credabilities..

Here is the list of what they are in FM07:

Derry City: 4000
Shels: 4500
Bohs: 3500
Drogs: 4000
Cork: 4000
Sligo: 2000
UCD: 2500
St Pats: 3500
Longford: 2500
Bray: 2500
Waterford: 2500

Shamrock: 3000
Dundalk 2250
Galway: 2000
Cobh: 1500
Limerick: 1000
Finn: 2250
Kildare: 1500
Athlone: 1750
Monaghan: 1500
Kilkenny: 1000

What are your views on this? Please put it as you see it above and try and make it as fair as possible..

I have my views on this and I will keep them to myself and make a final decision on what to put in FMF update when I have got a decent amount of responces

What you mean by credabillities? How good each team is, is it?

Sorry I shall clear up a bit more

Bascially how good the team is compared to another ... so with the best team getting say 5,000 and the worst about 1,000 and "trying" to get each team in the leagues as close to reality as possible...

So in the figures I put up there Derry City have the same credability in the world football scene as Drogheda and Cork City

sligo should be 3000 = to shams

IS this some kind of urine take?
We are only 250 better off than Athlone?
How can Sligo be on only 2000,when they finished 5th last season?

I wouldnt really complain, maybe jus put Sligo higher and monaghan lower

no I am not researching for FM08 since I know littel about the leagues which is why I am asking you all.. the site I am with do 3 or 4 updates for FM07 through out the year... the first one is duw out and I want to get Ireland perfect since I have been reading on here that you all are not happy with what SI think.. and the fact they havent listened...

and yes this is reputation not how good the teams are.... but the rep changes due to what kind of season they have had in the press, in the league and across the world!!

well then cork's should be pretty high as we've been mentioned quite a lot because of our success in europe and because of selling kevin doyle / not selling roy o'donovan.

the main problem with the eircom league in FM is that young irish players regenerate in english clubs, severely handicapping ireland compared to every other league.

Why would Dundalk be lower? Its based on how famous the club is? Dundalk are one of the most sucessful clubs in the history of irish football. If was based on current ability id agree. I actually thought it was about right but id have bohs slightly higher

no, it's about a teams current reputation, which influences what players and staff can be attracted to the club, and also other things.So clubs like Derry, Cork, Drogs should be highest.

Current ability has a small part of it as well.

Well given UCD finished 6th in the Premier Division and Dundalk ended up 2nd in the First Division there should be major points adjustments all round.

I am one of the admin on fmformation.net

I think it is based on World wide rep .. as in if you were to ask someone who an Irish team are you'd get a certain team as an answer...
also current ability has something to do with it..
and add to that a history in the game.

its a real fine mixture of alot as I can see...
