We've paid our players on time every week for the last year.

Oh and Ndo obviously has some feelings for the club

Brought him back to European football. First Irish club. He was happy here apparently (It helps our chairman is fairly active in African charities and anti Rascism movements here I guess). He moved as Johnny Mac wanted to spend his wages elsewhere and Eamon Collins told him lies (which I can’t go into here but its nothing to do with football). I know how much he asked Bohs for and I know how much we offered him and we weren’t even close.

Or I was just saying that as I couldn't think of another reason why he'd sign for us...

I'm very happy about the above, if true, as I was extremely concerned at the prospect of Ndo coming North as we don't need another centre midfielder.

Though I wouldn't have said no to Rodgers as a left back for Derry.

I wouldnt take any of the three of them. Not saying they are bad players but we have those positions covered, and the only player i'd take from Shels is Jason Byrne

I'd take O'Neill ahead of Byrne. And I said that before we even thought of signing him. O'Neill's a better all round striker

If we are keeping Farren (hopefully) then he and O'Neill would be too lightweight a front pairing.

We badly need a Gary Beckett-type replacement coming through, but that type of player is thin on the ground in the League. Alan Murphy was my own great white hope in that position, but he's obviously gone by the wayside. Hopefully Kevin McHugh can get a run in the team in his preferred position and build a partnership with Farren.

I'm not sure about Byrne as I genuinely don't see a 20 goal a season striker as being an absolute necessity as long as the goals are coming from elsewhere, which was certainly the case in Stephen Kenny's style of play. There also remains the doubt that Byrne is in the Robbie Keane mould, ie that he needs 3 gilt edged chances to get each goal.

Great signings for Pats, this changes my prediction of the final positions for next year anyway.
Pats should be looking to get into the top 4 at least.
Goning to be a very competitive race for the title

    O Neill ....

lol we have no strikers thats a decent 11, a newcastle type decent 11 bet we never any of those playing at the same time assuming Mulcahy and the others sign for us again.

Dodge, would you not be better off putting that money into doing a bit of improvements to that ****-hole of a ground you have?

They bought a pub, what more do you want?!

IIRC the last capex grant for Richer was spent on players so there is a tradition to be kept up here

How can you say that? we lost the league on goal difference even though we had goals from everywhere. Shows more proof to me that we lost out cause we don't have a 20 goal a season forward

Considering Bohs 'we have loads of money' turned down Joey Ndo's wage demands I'm shocked he has ended up back at Pats, even with a reduction in his demands.

Gary O'Neill is a good striker and much better than the two amigos who just departed Richmond Park.

    Dave Rogers is useless....
I hope and pray that the rumour he has signed turns out to be 100% fact. If I knew losing O'Neill and Ndo meant getting rid of Rogers I could take it
    John Delaney!! GET OUT!!!
