Doesn't seem that different to me.

Just shows though theres a big difference between managing & coaching. Maybe theres a case for a team manager (like in rugby) who just organising things for the squad.

Yeah, soccercentral were pushing it as if there´d been a huge cover-up or something which, for a change, there hasn´t been.

I think a general manager in addition to a first team coach would be a very good idea.
