The current Showgrounds book is not on sale because it was funded through Peace III, so is only available free of charge.
Martin Finan now of the County London had a big input into the production of that book.

I managed to get this and the Showgrounds one a few months ago. So that's the Sligo set complete on the ol' book shelf

Any word on Cork's 30th anniversary book?

Due for release sometime around 2040, if I'm not mistaken.

Should be of interest to Bohs aficionados, EL and Irish fans alike so ill post here - a photography book about Dalymount Park was launched in the members bar on November 18th. Price of the book is €19.95. Some Bohs coverage but mostly other events (FAI Cup Finals, Internationals and the like)

"Dalymount Park: The Home of Irish Football" is a lovingly crafted pictorial history of one of Dublin’s most treasured landmarks, put together by journalist and lifelong League of Ireland supporter Colin White.
Spanning twelve decades, the book contains fantastic photographs and magic memories from the stadium’s 125-year existence.
Irish legend John Giles, a man who stood in the terraces as a boy watching his heroes gracing the turf at ‘Dalyer’, has penned a heartfelt foreword – a love letter to the place where he began his international career.

or if you would like to support Bohs in a small way, buying online at the following link will ensure the shop makes a small profit from each sale:

There will be another Official History of Sligo Rovers book published late 2016. They are currently advertising a special edition hardback copy of it for €75 which will include your name printed in the supporters page and a special copy of a Fantasy Programme.

I had a look at this when I was Christmas shopping at lunchtime, it's nothing short of fantastic. Really well put together, great photos, plenty of programmes etc for the anoraks. Pleased to see a very large Bohs presence in it- it must have been tempting to play to the crowd and focus on Ireland international content, but there's plenty of room for both in a fabulous looking book.

It's a terrific book - brilliant photographs which are really well reproduced, BUT as I had been warned before I got it, the captions leave a lot to be desired. Not much information, for the most part. 'Bohemians Squad' with no date for the photo nor any names of the players featured really isn't good enough. The fact that Tony Ward is featured prominently in the 'FAI Cup Final Bohemians v Limerick United' photo from 1982 is surely worthy of a mention - but it isn't. So much of the captioning is arbitrary.
Ten out of ten for photos and design, but they really should have got an editor to deal with the captions. But still a genuine 'must have' for Irish football fans.

Paul O'Brien's book 'For the Love of the Game' was launched after the Pat's game on Friday night. Not sure where to get a copy at the moment.

Neal Horgan's 'Second City' was also launched, his follow up book to Death of a Football Club.

And staying on the subject of Cork, Bobby Tambling's autobiography 'Goals in Life' was released last month.

The Sligo Rovers club history book, limited hardback edition, is out (€75) and the regular version is coming soon (€50).

And there will be another Dundalk Season Review.

Any book about Cork should have "second" in the title.

It was predictable, I suppose. I'll still buy the book though. Horgan's first book was excellent.

Make sure you put the wrapping in the bin if you do. Could end up blowing in front of the Shed...

I'd rather it blew in front of our stand in the cup final...

I know they'll use the 'limited edition' tag to justify it, but that is fierce pricey for a book about an Irish football club.

Is it really limited - like 500 copies - and so priced like that to justify the print run ?
