Just signed - best of luck with it.
Signed it. It would not fit in with the FAI's plan for football if there was no team in the South West. Did I read that the FAI want foootbal in Limerick to continue but not with the present people involved (presume that means Drew). What's Father Joe saying if anything about the lease.
Done best of luck with the campaign
"Are those my feet" Fr Jack Hackett
signed as well. like limerick as a club after playin them in the fai cup a few years ago. limerick needs an eircom league club considerin the size of the city . i hope that they will get something sorted.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
done .....god luck
Bring back the plank
Done...Best of luck
"One for all and all for one"
whats the point of this, i mean, petitions are usually addressed to somebody, or describe a proposal. of course everyone wants soccer in limerick - but would that not be better served by a poll than some ridiculous petition of opinions addressed to nobody?

I have signed it and put a question in there I would really like the FAI should answer for everyone to hear.... but I doubt they will..
Hope they make a return, a two year grace to get things in order doesn't seem to outragous! The League needs a team from Lmerick!
The League needs a well run club in Limerick. The current one is a shambles. I fully support the application of any interested party that is willing to invest in and run properly a club in Limerick. I won't sign a petition that calls blindy for the reinstatment of a club that has failed to meet the most basic off criteria - a ground, some money, a physio, etc.
"The club which is deeply steeped in history and tradition is on the brink of extinction due to the FAI's decision not to grant our club a licence. "
The club is actually on the brink of extinction due to total mismanagement. It is amazing to see so many people sign this petition, yet also call for Shels to be thrown out of the league. Hypocrites.
Senior soccer in Limerick: Yes
Saving LFC in it's current state: No. No point.
I think Philly has summed it up well.
- Limerick ought to have an EL team. Every EL fan would support that.
- No point is having a licencing system if it is not going to be complied with.
- The current Limerick club management is clearly either not capable or not willing to work with those who can progress matters, whether this is the FAI, Fr.Joe Young or whoever. (btw, what ever happened to the Polish consortium?)
- Support the current Limerck FC set up - No.
Honest! I am not a secret Tim nor a closet Sham - I really am a Seagull.
Whats all this Limerick 37 malarky all about though?
any need for this thread anymore?
