How, exactly, would you like the clubs, grounds make them feel more welcome? And I'll repeat what I've said a thousand times, if anybody refuses to watch their local team because of a statement made by one 9or even a handful) of people, they're looking for excuses not to go.

PS... I don't really care about the FAI's team (and I'd watch an Irish team/competitor in pretty much any sport...)

Take for example David Forde, who left Derry last week citing one of the reasons he wanted to go to Cardiff was to attempt to break into the Republic of Ireland team.

If he said that then he is a fool. He's played for Wales u21s so has therefore declared for Wales. He can't ever play for the Republic.
