Application for a Limerick team to enter The eircom First Division

now the EL have offically open applications for a team in Limerick to enter the Eircom Division 1, do you think any of the teams will accept and who has the facilities or finances to do it.

surely 4 or 5 clubs around limerick are in better shape than limerick fc.why would they be not interested.its a great opportunity for whoever wants it

Pike, View or Boro mainly due to facilities,,, would surely be the only 3 teams in with a shout.

2 or 3 in better shape alright, still would fall short of requirments though, although with FAI assistance its possible..... who would want to though?

pike got the all clear 2years ago with limerick used there ground

pike got the go ahead to play LOI matches about 15 years ago when the new pitches and club house were both finished. Thats why limerick played there are few seasons ago, with the new eufa licenses there wont be another one played there for a long time .... at least 400 seats, the dressing rooms, terracing etc...
