If they wait a while, they can go for Stephen Kenny. Not saying it will happen, but he will be desperate for a job come the new season, after he's been sacked at Dunfermline.

Thing is though .... of any of the managers in the eL, i think he'll adapt the best. I hope he does end up back in the Irish game to be honest. Maybe he'll find out how poxy the SPL is without all the sugar coating that is served up to people here.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

On the Dunfermline MB, they're saying that, although he's gotten stick from some small sections of the crowd, the style of play and the players' fitness have definitely improved in the short time he's been there. They appear doomed already, but he should (not will) be there next season even if they go down. If he wants to be, obviously.

I've no hard-on for Kenny given the timing of his departure, but as far as I know he's in no danger of losing his job when (rather than if) they go down.

Whether he'll move on again of his own choosing is another question entirely. I'd say he'll be open to offers from English clubs.

Mick Wallace was interviewed there this week by a local paper in Wexford and he said that Pat Dolan turned down the Shels and Bohs job to become Head Coach with his new Wexford Youths FC team with Wallce himself as manager.
