Maybe. Don't bank on it though!
Reckon I only have another 50-55 myself, hence the worry![]()
We should win some league or cup within the next 20 years shouldn't we![]()

Jayz lads! talkin about your deaths already??
So where does everyone reckon we will finish next year?
Im goin with 6th myself, i would probably settle for that right now considering we will probably not sign many players.
We lost Mulcahy, Kennedy, Scully, Donnelly & Cooling and IMO none of them bar Cooling were that great.
We still have the best part of our squad left, and i think with 1 or 2 signings we could finish 6th this season, then push on in the future.
What are your opinions?
Oh by the way, Cooling isnt 100% gone yet, but hes 99% gone to pats.
What 1% of his body has yet to arrive in Inchicore then?!
Do you really want to know![]()

Too early to predict yet IMO wait and see who signs who. Also that matter of possibly Wexford entering and Limerick.
There are some decent players out their on frees. Sligo and Galway have released some decent players in the wake of both going full time so hopefully the club might get one or two O'Grady would be excellent IMO, and with Mc Tiernan signing for Athlone who knows?.
Would be dissappointed to see Cooling leave but would't blame him anfd wish him the best. Sorry to see Donnelly leave as well but as for the others ......
AHHHHHHHHHH! can't resist at the moment I'd say
Dundalk, Cobh, Waterford, Finn Harps, Kildare, Athlone, Monaghan, Kilkenny
Could be close between County, Harps, Athlone, Waterford will be bit of an unknown with Cronin starting from pretty much scratch
Now that Galway and Rovers are gone the Division looks less chalanging to be honest. No team in it has got the sort of squad that will be unbeatable at this level, although there are plenty more signings to come I am sure. Dundalk will be tough but then again, morale might well be low there. The players Cronin is signing do not suggest a strong title challenge is on the way. Harps really lost themselves last year, and Cobh were no great shakes either (although they trashed us). Athlone might be the dark horse of D1 in 2007.
Paul McTiernan is a quality signing for Athlone, along with the new ground, that should give them a huge boost
Dundalk and Waterford should be a long way ahead of the rest. Hughes will guarantee Dundalk 15-20 goals and Ben Whelehan is a great signing for them too. Waterford have plenty of players with premier division experience and Gareth and Sean Francis seem to be doing a really good job down there.
Harps will improve on last year, Hegarty is a good choice as manager even if he is a bit nuts. He is a cert to get a touchline ban at some stage during the season!!
Will be interesting to see how Wexford do if there are the team that are chosen to replace Dublin City
Very hard to see us doing any better than we did last year, the young lads will be a year older but without some experience in the team, we are going to struggle badly.
We have no money to be attracting players. Conor O'Grady is an excellent player and would be a super signing but there is absolutely no chance of him signing for us given the wages that we will be offering. We will have to make do with players that nobody else wants. If we are in for a player and another club comes in for him as well, we are very unlikely to be able to match the terms that are offering.

Hard to know about Harps methinks, don't doubt Hegartys ability but they like ourselves don't have a whole lot to spend. Remember they made everyone available for tranfer last season.
I think there is little or no chance of us signing the likes of O' Grady but with the appearent big earners like Kennedy and Mulcahy gone I would like to see the club try. Nothing tried nothing gained I say.
Wouldn't surprise me if Athlone benefit big time from Galway and Sligo going full time.
Yeah isn't it amazing that those two top earners were also the top flops? We wasted so much money on them, it's unreal.
Athlone probably don't have a huge amount of cash to splash themselves either, though the new ground could attract players.
Cooling is gone to Waterford.

Also Athlone a lot closer to Galway and Sligo than most other clubs with the exception of Longford and in Sligos case Finn Harps, Derry, but with Derry full time can't see too many of the released ending up there either.
Good player, sorry to see him go, best of luck to him
Everyone needs something to believe in, I believe I'll have another beer.
